Last Thursday night Nodifi CEO Tom Caesar, was honoured at InDaily’s annual 40 Under 40 awards.
The awards honour South Australia’s top young business leaders, highlighting their innovation, commitment and diversity. This year the 40 Under 40 list represented leaders from various business sectors, including, medicine, technology, finance, hospitality and more.
Venture Capital Fund Portfolio Manager David Rohrsheim, led the assessment panel and commended the award winners for their risk taking prowess.
Mr Rohrshiem continued, “The key question the judges asked when reviewing applications was: ‘Is our State better off with this person?’ For the 40 winners, the answer was a strong yes. If we could clone them into 400 people, we would.”
Sharing similar sentiment was SA Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Simon Birmingham, who stated that South Australia would make its way out of the global pandemic through the state’s innovators.
“That’s what tonight’s ceremony really is celebrating. It’s recognising that across South Australia we have such a breadth of talent driving new businesses, new concepts and in doing so driving new jobs for South Australians today and hopefully long into the future.”
While 2020 has been a turbulent year, there have been some shining lights for Nodifi, having notched a record month in June for settlements and a record month for new partner acquisitions in September.
Tom Caesar says while it’s nice to be recognised alongside the state’s best young leaders, the award is truly a recognition of the work the Nodifi team has done, dating back to its inception in 2017.
“I’m humbled to be recognised among South Australia’s top business leaders, but furthermore, I’m incredibly proud of the Nodifi team and the partners we support everyday. It’s been their determination over the years that has positioned Nodifi as one of the industry’s leading asset finance brands today.”
The award complements previous awards, including Telstra’s Small Business of the Year (SA), The Adviser’s Innovator of the Year, and SmartCompany’s WFI Smart50 award.
