The Better Business Awards 2021 recognises the leading players in Australia’s mortgage and finance broking industry.

The annual awards celebrates Australia’s top brokers, networks, innovators, leaders and aggregators on a state-by-state basis and provides a platform for individuals and businesses to be commended for their tireless efforts in helping Australian borrowers access finance and for consistently exceeding consumer expectations.

The awards program champions the individuals and businesses from each state and territory within Australia who are leading the way and who best demonstrate effective customer service, strong business strategy, and good consumer outcomes.

The Adviser editor Annie Kane commented: “The past year has been an incredibly busy one for mortgage and finance brokers, as they worked around the clock to help support their clients when the pandemic began. Whether it was reaching out to clients to let them know what support was available to them, refinancing them into a better deal, or enabling them to enter the property market for the first time, brokers have been intrinsic to ensuring that Australian borrowers were able to access the finance they needed, when they needed it most.

“The sheer amount of work and effort that was made by those supporting brokers – the aggregators, BDMs, loan administrators and networks – to ensure they were able to deliver to their clients while socially distancing was remarkable and we are thrilled to be able to recognise the efforts of this industry at our annual awards this year.

“Congratulations to all of the finalists.”

Liam Sutcliffe said he was proud to be named as a finalist, however the recognition was testament to the tireless work of the Nodifi support team, providing partners with an outstanding experience during a challenging year.

“What’s most pleasing is how the team rallied through a testing time – this recognition reinforces the contributions of each team member.

“It’s proving to be an exciting time at Nodifi with a raft on new initiatives set to launch.

“This recognition adds that extra level of motivation.”

The winners of the Better Business Awards 2021 will be announced at an in-person awards night during the five-state roadshow, kicking off in Brisbane on the 20th of May, and wrapping up in Sydney on the 24th of June.

Congratulations to Liam and all other finalists – best of luck!
